What They (The Media) Missed - The Free GOP Pass on Intolerance

While Barack Obama struggles to explain an association with a pastor who has made a few controversial statements, the GOP continues to be beyond introspection and inspection. The anger that drives the comments of Barack Obama's pastor make more sense now than it did 10 days ago when it made no sense.

While Obama is skewered by association, the GOP continues to make its ritualistic pilgrimages to Bob Jones University and cavort with commentators that eagerly refer to this candidate as B. Hussein Obama in a third-world-like attempt to fuel racial prejudices and fears. With impunity, the GOP's highest levels of leadership eagerly engage with those that intolerantly bash Catholics, homosexuals, Hispanics, and Mormons. But these divisive actions are given a free pass and remain beyond interrogation.

This duplicity gives rise to the anger that may indeed be the genesis of Reverend Wright's statements. Now we might understand. Sphere: Related Content
