Evan describes himself as a libertarian or traditional conservative or classic liberal. Whatever, the label; Evan provided us a lot of great insights as to the nature of media bias and how technology may help to manage it. Evan provides us information on the history of "objectivity" in the media and how bias is unavoidable. He also goes on to describe how the Internet has allowed this bias to be better understood and managed. Evan is an advocate of having people take a look at all sorts of perspectives in order to formulate their own opinions. During our conversation we also explore some interesting new technologies such as twitter and the concept of hyperlocal media.
